A Country Experience with the Fig
Description
A day spent in a small village in the interior of the Serra do Caldeirão with a magnificent landscape where you can have the unique experience of learning traditional preservation and drying techniques, and prepare some of the typical sweets made from this fruit: the fig.
Program
- Presentation of the activity;
- Preparing the figs and almonds;
- Preparing the fig paste;
- Short walk through the village of Sarnadas and its history with a visit to the Casa do Esparto;
- Lunch (optional)

Children between the ages of 6 and 12 can take part, as long as they are accompanied by an adult. They are not counted as participants, but are counted for lunch if they choose to do so.
