{"id":17858,"date":"2026-10-02T13:19:03","date_gmt":"2026-10-02T13:19:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/loulecriativo.pt\/evento\/exhibition-palma-esparto-e-cana\/"},"modified":"2026-10-02T14:07:27","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T14:07:27","slug":"exhibition-palma-esparto-e-cana","status":"publish","type":"lc_expo","link":"https:\/\/loulecriativo.pt\/en\/evento\/exhibition-palma-esparto-e-cana\/","title":{"rendered":"Exhibition &#8220;PALMA, ESPARTO E CANA&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Palm, esparto and sugarcane are typical raw materials of the artisanal production of the territory of Loul\u00e9, and were the starting point of a creative residency held in July and August 2025.<br\/><br\/>As part of the programs for the safeguarding and development of the traditional arts and crafts of the municipality, the initiative brought together twelve participants, from Portugal and Spain, experienced in manual work, who had the opportunity to learn new techniques and develop skills with local masters.  <br\/><br\/>The process involved collecting the materials in the field, preparing and transforming them, and learning ancestral methods that have shaped utilitarian objects from the region for centuries.
