The Clay Studio is located in Martim Moniz Street, in the historic city center of Loul\u00e9, in the building where in the past was the ancient and recovered pottery of Jos\u00e9 Jo\u00e3o Velhote.<\/p>\n\n
Next to the medieval walls, nowadays work two places that fit together and complement each other. In one of them, Domingos Gon\u00e7alves “Xavier” who was the potter until the building went into ruins, is back shaping and demonstrating how to work the clay, as well as selling its typical chimneys of the Algarve. On the other side, and in the course of the project Loul\u00e9 Criativo, others potters are hosted for an incubation period to experiment and consolidate their activity. <\/p>\n\n
