Joana Almeida

Joana is the daughter of two biologists, she soon learned to love the world around her. She moved to Loulé in 2017, and soon fell in love with the immense biodiversity that exists in the rainfed orchards in the rural area of Loulé. She currently works with dry and sustainable gardens, is a Nature Guide and collaborates with environmental education activities in volunteering. The tours allow visitors to feel the balance that exists between natural ecosystems and production for human consumption, when working in harmony with the surrounding environment.
