She learned crochet and knitting as a child and, more recently, discovered amigurumi. Today he creates unique pieces in Portuguese cotton, linking this technique to the traditions and symbols of the Algarve.

A specialist in macramé, she has been part of the Loulé Criativo Textile Workshop for two years. She sells her pieces one hundred percent handmade and promotes workshops, where she teaches some of her techniques.

Susana Méndez, founder of Susana Méndez – Textile Studio in Loulé, is a textile artist passionate about handweaving, tapestry and embroidery. With a degree in Arts and Graphic Design, she combines illustration with the creation of decorative pieces in threads, colors and textures, developing original projects and sharing her experience through training.

Jane Preza
Jane's journey as a textile artist began with a weaving workshop that sparked her love for the slow and tactile process of weaving. Since then he has dedicated himself to the world of yarns and fibers, exploring various techniques such as weaving, felting and spinning.

Susan Sutherland
Scottish by origin and Portuguese at heart, Susan Sutherland grew up surrounded by yarn and from an early age developed a passion for wool. She is dedicated to the creation of handmade knitting pieces and card, and spins much of the raw material she works with. He gives workshops where he teaches the art of spinning with handmade spinning wheels or spindles.
