Motivated by the opportunity to provide travelers with an authentic and interactive experience with local culture, the Municipality of Loulé created the Loulé Creative Tourism Network in 2015.

Who can join?
- Artists, artisans, creative sector professionals, cultural and tourism agents with established operations in the municipality of Loulé;
- People willing and able to organize creative experiences related to local culture, aimed at tourists.
- If you don’t meet the above requirements for becoming a partner, but have a creative learning experience to share with the visitor, you can submit a proposal to one of the activity-promoting partners. By becoming a partner, you’ll be able to explore creative ideas and approaches, create new economic opportunities, and engage with diverse people and cultures.
What should you ensure?
- The best quality of experience, ensuring the satisfaction of everyone involved;
- An organized program with an ideal duration of 2 to 7 hours (in the case of workshops) or a maximum of 40 hours (in the case of mini-courses);
- Cover one or more themes: art, crafts, gastronomy, heritage, rhythm;
- The visitor’s direct and active (hands-on) contact with the knowledge being transmitted;
- Dialogue with visitors using a common language (at least English and Portuguese);
- Personalized attention to visitors who should feel “at home” (working with small groups – 1 to 10 people);
- Being open to receiving reservations on other dates, in addition to those currently scheduled.
