Description
In this workshop, each child will create their own fantastic creature in clay.
Program
We start by looking at some examples of small creatures and a brief demonstration of the pinch pot technique, through which we will create a hollow shape that will serve as the basis for each piece.
From this initial form, each child develops their creature, adding ears, paws, eyes, tails and other details, using simple tools to create textures and give personality to the piece.
Throughout the workshop, small questions are asked about who each creature is, what it is called or where it lives, encouraging each child to build an imaginary around their creation.
At the end, the pieces are left to dry and go to baking. They will be ready for lifting about 3 to 4 weeks later.
