Born in Alentejo, Lurdes Costa moved to the municipality of Loulé at a young age, where she learned the art of the enterprise with a neighbour.
Throughout his life, he followed different professional paths, leaving handicrafts aside for some time.
Today, she is one of the youngest artisans at Casa da Empreita, a space where she rediscovered her passion for manual arts. Curious and dedicated, she constantly seeks to learn new techniques.
In recent times he discovered the palm knit technique, to which he has dedicated himself, working it individually or together with the contract, trying to make different and innovative pieces.
