Florinda Guerreiro, known as Flor, was born in Cerro Alto (Parragil), in the municipality of Loulé. His fascination with the palm enterprise was born as a child, influenced by his mother, with whom he learned the first techniques and created his first pieces.
Even during the period in which he lived in France, he never moved away from this profession. On vacation in Portugal, the nostalgia for art was stronger, and Flor made a point of continuing to practice so as not to lose her way.
Returning permanently to Portugal, he dedicated himself with enthusiasm and commitment to his passion, creating a wide variety of pieces, many of them offered to friends and family.
Recognized for the skill and perfection of her work, Florinda Guerreiro is an artisan who honors and preserves the traditional knowledge of palm, keeping alive the artisanal heritage of the Algarve’s Barrocal.
