Collaboration Faculty of Fine Arts
A partnership between the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon and the Design Lab of Loulé Criativo, in which a group of students developed a set of products in collaboration with artisans and makers from the Creative Community, focusing on local knowledge and cultural identity.
Meeting between Design Students and Traditional Knowledge
The initiative promoted the meeting between design students and traditional knowledge, in a collaborative process that valued research, critical thinking and local potential. Built from a dialectical approach, it recognized all the actors and their creative, cultural and technical capacities. We sought to initiate a dialogue between academia and the ancestral arts, in an exercise of mutual respect and exchange of knowledge, where the intersection of design methodologies with tacit knowledge gave rise to solutions that integrated innovation, tradition, sustainability and local identity.

Modular system designed for the division of open spaces. It works by assembling modules horizontally or vertically depending on the size and space in question, reinventing the concept of screen. The shape was inspired by the weave of basketry, leading to the reuse of expired legumes in bioresin panels.
