Embroidery – Volumes and Textures

Flávia Ferreira Dias has a degree in fashion and has built her professional career across fashion, design and creative practice, developing a keen eye for materials, shapes and details. In Loulé, she found in embroidery a new creative language, where handcraft, colour and texture come together to bring unique and contemporary pieces to life. Her practice values the knowledge of traditional craft techniques, reinterpreting them in a free and experimental way, through the relationship between gesture, thread and material. She is a craft partner of Loulé Criativo, where she develops her work and shares her embroidery practice, bringing tradition closer to contemporary creativity.
