Introduction to Papermaking

In the workshop “Paper Making”, it will be demonstrated how paper recycling will make it possible to take advantage of resources that would normally be discarded, such as old newspaper sheets, note sheets, unused prints and old clothing fabrics.

During the three hours of the session, there will be a brief theoretical introduction and some examples and materials necessary for those who want to replicate the process at home will be presented. Then, the practical component will be carried out, where various pulps and materials will be explored — leaves, threads, petals, among others — for the creation of handmade paper.
