From the Market to the Kitchen: Flavors of the Mountain

The Loulé Market is the starting point of this experience, where participants are invited to get to know the fresh and local products, visit the producers’ stalls and select the ingredients that they will then transform into a meal inspired by the traditional gastronomy of Loulé and the Mediterranean Diet.

After the visit to the market and the selection of products, it is time to the kitchen, where there will be a brief introduction to the techniques and ingredients to be used, followed by a practical component of cooking.

Throughout the experience, participants will learn how to prepare three traditional dishes:

Starter: Tiborna de Salada Montanheira
Main course: Cherry Chicken Loulé
Dessert: Carob Pie

Between preparation and confection, there will be space for sharing experiences, clarifying doubts and discovering the flavors that are part of the local gastronomic identity.

At the end, the most awaited moment arrives: sitting at the table and tasting what was prepared together.
